Dr. Timothy Springer is looking for a highly motivated and resourceful candidate for a Research Assistant I position in his lab. Research in the Springer lab uses exciting and innovative techniques including single-molecule FRET, cryoEM, X-ray crystallography, synthetic antibody discovery using yeast display platforms and quantitative biophysical and biochemical assays to study and unravel the mechanisms of protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions at the heart of cell signaling pathways that are relevant to immunology, hemostasis, and human pathologies like autoimmune diseases, cancer, and fibrosis. This is a unique opportunity for recent graduates to learn new biology and techniques, hone their research skills, and sharpen their scientific mind before applying to graduate or medical school.
